" As an artist, John Milder draws on his love of music, mathematics and philosophy to create sculptures that are imbued with a lyrical physicality of movement and form. Through close observation of the organic structures found in nature he has developed a reductive geometry that blends figuration with abstraction to create a union that synthesizes the real and the symbolic. Moreover, as an ensemble, the works communicate through an abstract language of gestures that are both familiar and suggestive.
